Every once-in-a-while we post a close-up photo. You can guess what you think it is or what you think it isn't. If you're right you get to be happy. If you're wrong, you get to be sad.

Just so you can brag to your mom ;) and so I can get you to post more photos...since I've used them all!! I show your pictures to my students in English class in South Korea- so, yes, you ARE famous!!!
I definitely used this as a game last night. Your photos entertained hundreds of young adults... ok not hundreds but at least 10. We need more pics! Next weekend its round 2! :) Great job.
Hi! I just want to say I use you photos all the time to teach junior high student's the phrases "What's this?" and "Is that a ...?" It is a HUGE hit every time. Thanks for putting these up!!
It's been a long long long time since I have looked to see if you updated, I used to look all the time and was sad to see you hadn't now I am sad that I gave up! glad you have so many fans! Favorite so far, oatmeal !
I love your site too! I like many others use your wonderful pictures to teach my kids the "what's this?" phrase and new vocabulary words. I'm living in Japan now and it's hard to find a warm-up game that the kids can get into. They love this though and as a bonus, they also get to see how some products like clothespins are slightly different from those in Japan. Thank you so much!

I knew it was a coin and I knew it was not of US origin. Now I know it is a 20 cent Euro (thanks to the answer)
